Formula 1® Miami Grand Prix participating restaurants and partners bring a taste of South Florida to the track

South Florida Motorsports (SFM) is bringing the best food and beverage deals to the Formula 1® Grand Prix of Miami from May 6-8, 2022. The South Florida region is famous for its bar and club culture. restaurants and on the race weekend, track attendees will have the opportunity to sample some of the city’s finest culinary delights.

With more than a dozen local participating restaurants offering an array of incredible flavors, Formula 1® Grand Prix promoters Miami are thrilled to be able to bring South Florida cuisine to guests of the race. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience Michelin-starred offerings as well as the flavors of Miami Gardens through food and beverage offerings from local minority-owned businesses.

Over the course of race weekend, more than 34 different participating restaurants will be responsible for the Miami campus and Miami International Autodrome menus. From fan-only areas to upscale hospitality venues, such as suites and the MSC Cruises Yacht Club, menus will showcase a distinct Miami atmosphere, combining culinary expertise and produce from the region.

Seaspice has brought a unique vision to the Miami River where locals and tourists alike flock to sample wood-fired casseroles and craft cocktails, while admiring the breathtaking scenery of the Miami River and downtown.

Michael’s real coffee

This is the perfect place to sample burgers and fried chicken sandwiches from Miami James Beard Award-winning chef Michael Schwartz. Food & Wine said this burger was one of the best in the country – you must try with house-smoked bacon or black truffle cream.

Harry’s pizzeria

Chef Michael Schwartz’s Harry’s Pizzeria will have its brick pizza ovens to make freshly baked pizzas, including short ribs, truffled mushrooms, pepperoni and classic cheese, cooked to order all day long.

Groot Hospitality

Groot Hospitality is a Miami-based collective of top restaurants, nightclubs and hotels. Officially formed in 2018 by entrepreneur David Grutman, the company is a forerunner in its field, creating unique atmospheres of high-end dining, luxurious decor, marquee entertainment and highly shareable moments. Groot Hospitality will create a bespoke experience for the 72 Club on the Miami International Autodrome campus and serve a selection of signature items from its restaurants Komodo, Swan, Papi Steak, SFC, Strawberry Moon and The Key Club, such as Chips & Caviar, Peking duck, A5 rolls, Wagyu Pastrami and more.

Casa Tua

Created to evoke the feeling of “your home,” as the name suggests, Casa Tua at Miami International Autodrome is a warm welcoming space offering guests access to a private trackside members club. Located inside Paddock East, the pinnacle of Formula 1 hospitality, Casa Tua will create an atmosphere that combines fine Italian cuisine with welcoming service and views of the action track, making it the one of the most popular areas of the circuit.


ZZ’s Club is a private Major Food Group restaurant and club located in the heart of the Miami Design District, designed for people who appreciate the highest caliber of dining and service like nowhere else in Miami. The Palm Club X ZZ’s Club will feature a variety of exceptional Japanese dishes and cocktails in a luxurious setting for dining and watching the race.

Michelle Bernstein

James Beard Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein, a Miami native of Jewish and Latino heritage, dazzled diners and critics alike with her sublime cuisine and personality as bright and vibrant as the Florida sun. Attendees will be treated to many of Bernstein’s acclaimed South Florida concepts across campus, including an exclusive preview of Sra. Martinez, Bernstein’s next dining and entertainment experience is set to open later this year in downtown Coral Gables. Sra. Martinez will offer an eclectic menu of old-world Spanish and American dishes with innovative and contemporary twists, all infused with Bernstein’s eye for great produce and talent for vibrant, deceptively simple, but in layers. Additionally, his eponymous restaurant business, Michelle Bernstein Caterer, will serve its award-winning cuisine for the Yacht Club area; while Sweet Freedomranked among the top 100 bars in the world, will offer vibrant cocktails and innovative mixology, as well as their famous Cauliflower Nachos.

SIDE Miami

COTE, the Michelin-starred, James Beard Award-nominated KOREAN STEAKHOUSE™ and owner Simon Kim’s vision was unveiled in Miami’s Design District this winter. Emulating its flagship, the New York-based high-energy venue is synonymous with marrying the fun and fire of Korean BBQ with the hallmarks of a classic, stately American steakhouse. The result is a unique and friendly atmosphere infusing a fine dining experience with world-class ingredients and service complemented by a jaw-dropping beverage program.

Other examples of restaurants include the Peruvian Sushi Bar SuVichepopular bistro Novecentothe colorful CHICA and Corsair. In addition to the gourmet dishes of bird yard (known for its intoxicating bourbon cocktails), Menchie’sthe famous fried chicken restaurant David Chang’s FukuJapanese delicacies from OMAKAI sushi, Sushi maki, Pubbelly Sushi and Kosushi and the legendary Havana 1957 which allows you to relive the glory and glamor of Cuba in the 1950s.

Over the race weekend, Chef Dayanny De La Cruz, Sodexo Live! The Hard Rock Stadium Executive Chef will be responsible for menus in fan-only areas and high-end hospitality venues such as suites and the MSC Cruises Yacht Club, where menus will showcase a distinct Miami atmosphere, combining the culinary expertise and regional products.

The executive chef will be supported by over 2,500 staff, 75 temporary kitchens and over 30 additional culinary staff. Examples of locally inspired dishes include Rock Shrimp Ceviche, Filet Mignon Bites, Wagyu Beef Satay, Key West Prawn Cocktail and more.

The Miami campus will also feature unique experiential drink activations with Herradura, Hendricks, Glenfiddich, Cincoro, Whistle Pig, Organika, and Flor de Cana to name a few. herradure will create the MIA signature cocktail for this year which will be a refreshing MIA Skinny Margarita while Hendrick will create a Unique 3-story bar located on East Campus that is open to all guests.

Glenfiddich also have a branded bar located in the MSC Cruises Yacht Club where they customize the fan experience to deliver an unforgettable race weekend and VIP experience for all race participants and the global partner of Formula 1, Ferrari Thirty will also activate a custom sparkling wine bar in the North Campus International Plaza.

The other highlight of the Formula 1® Grand Prix Miami dining experience includes a premier wine program, created in close collaboration with Culinary Institute of America graduate Carlton McCoy. Appointed Master Sommelier in 2013 at just 28 years old, McCoy was one of the youngest and the second African-American to win this prestigious title.

At the end of the event, Hard Rock Stadium and Chef Dayanny De La Cruz, Sodexo Live! The chef at Hard Rock Stadium will endeavor to donate prepared but unused food to the Miami chapter of Food Rescue US, directly benefiting local missions and South Florida shelters. The group regularly saves food from Hard Rock Stadium and has kept three million pounds of food out of landfills since its inception in 2018.
