The Business to Business (B2B) department of Canal + Rwanda has launched a Christmas package for large hotels, restaurants, airports, hospitals and other service providers.
The promotion will run from November 15 to December 31.
Companies will be eligible for promotions on one or the other of the three subscriptions (Basic with 8 channels selected at 7,000 Rwf per room, Essential with 16 selective channels at 10,500 Rwf per room and Prestige with 24 channels at 13,500 Rwf per room).
The good news about this is that all the equipment, installation process, and after-sales service will be completely free.
“Most of the time, the equipment to install the common server in a large system like hotels and restaurants is expensive and can only be purchased in Dubai and China. But thanks to our promotion, they will all be free, ”said Aime Abizera, sales director of Canal +.
Abizera added that hotels primarily cater to tourists and business people attending meetings who really need to access the content.
“People in hotels are mostly tourists who want to know what’s going on in their home country, and they are often alone, so they need televisions in the rooms to keep them entertained during their stay. “, he underlined.
Visitors to the hotel will be helped because Canal + has more than 200 channels in different languages, including news, sports, series and music content.
More than 50 hotels in Rwanda are already subscribed to the Canal + system.
Julia Abayisenga, key account assistant intern in the B2B department, stressed that the promotion comes at the right time as the Rwandan tourist trend is recovering after the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.

She added that the subscription prices are not high at all: “We have also done our best to set up affordable prices, because if a room costs more than $ 300 per night and the monthly subscription is less at $ 15, that’s a fair price for real. She commented.
Canal + technicians located in different corners of the country will be on standby to help any customer who experiences a technical problem at no cost.
Canal + Rwanda is a subsidiary of the Canal + International Group, a leader in the publishing of premium channels as well as in the distribution of pay television offers.
The group is experiencing strong growth with a significant presence on the European, African and Asian markets.
