The restaurant has a temperature-controlled glass-enclosed room that displays an extensive selection of Cuban cigars and cigarillos. “We opened our doors shortly before the Covid-19 pandemic which was one of the most challenging times in recent history, especially for the hospitality industry. Fortunately, we have come through this period and have developed a very tight-knit community of customers who appreciate and truly reflect our vision of a luxury dining and entertainment experience,” Paulo Borgi, director of El Padrino, told Travel Black.

According to the manager, El Padrino has become one of the best restaurants in Ghana and a favorite of celebrities and high profile personalities due to its exclusivity, luxury design, fine dining, bar and restaurant. live music.

They also require reservations to avoid overcrowding and adequate spacing between tables for ensuring privacy,” said Borgi.The venue is tucked away in a picturesque corner of the Atlantic Tower in Airport City, a perfect hideaway to escape the hustle and bustle of Accra.

The restaurant offers a decor that exudes luxury with its classic design of rich woods and dark brown and cream leathers. The comfortable sofas and armchairs are reminiscent of the living room of a distinguished home and offer guests maximum relaxation while enjoying their food and drinks.

Borgi revealed that El Padrino offers continental cuisine including steak, seafood, pasta and plenty of fresh and healthy options for lunch and dinner. “The bar is complete with single malt whiskeys, cognac, vintage rums and wines to perfectly accompany a meal or for stand-alone enjoyment.”

The restaurant is also home to the live Jazz & Blues Night event, one of Accra’s landmarks, with the band De Dynamics on Thursday nights followed by DJ Night on Fridays and a live band on Saturdays. Sometimes guests such as KOD or Kwesi Arthur joined the group for a surprise performance.
