Nasser Fadly, regional director of human resources for InterContinental Hotels Group Africa and Sultanate of Oman, has been appointed as a member of the diversity, equity and inclusion board of directors for India, the Middle East and Africa.
The IHG Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Council was founded in 2018 and it was formed to guide, monitor and challenge diversity, equality and inclusion activities and ensure that IHG hotels around the world respect their commitment to creating a diverse culture in which each member can thrive. . India Middle East and Africa DE&I is chaired by Haitham Mattar, Managing Director IHG IMEA.
Nasser has been part of the IHG family for over 36 years and in his current role oversees human resources operations at over 30 hotels across multiple IHG brands in Africa and the Sultanate of Oman. Nasser founded capable representation of diverse talent in the IHG hotels he oversees, built leadership accountability and training and development capabilities, and managed the empowerment of future female leaders. In addition, he has given great support to hiring calibers of determination to strengthen equal employment opportunities. in the hotels for which he is responsible.
Speaking of his expertise, Nasser has held several positions in Africa and the Middle East, spanning day-to-day operations, human resources, and training and development, effectively leading his teams through many critical challenges. He was also twice named HR Leader of the Year by the Egyptian Chamber of Human Resources for the years 2018 and 2019, in addition to winning the Best Employer Award for InterContinental Cairo Citystars for three consecutive years. Thanks to his leadership and dedication, InterContinental Hotels Group Egypt was awarded Aon Global Best Employer Accreditation by Aon Hewitt for two consecutive years in 2017 and 2018. Additionally, Nasser played a vital role in the ascent program from IHG for aspiring CEOs and General Managers of IHG Citystars hotels. .

Nasser graduated from the Faculty of Tourism and went on to obtain a degree in hotel management from Cornell University in Paris in 2001.
